Mission & Vision
GTiPay’s founding members are passionate about providing African communities with state of the art virtual banking and mobile payment solutions to improve every body’s health and wellbeing, by simplifying our day to day activities with a robust, seamless mobile banking platform for everyday life within rural communities across Africa. We are especially energized to provide Mobile Banking Solutions to disenfranchised citizens and families who are currently un-banked or underbanked. GTiPay’s founding members are philanthropic by nature and very charitable, we have seen a need to create a children school scholarship program in support of children who need help to start their education. This will be the first of many such funding initiatives we intend to start, once GTiPay Mobile Banking Platform becomes more established in community ecommerce and the GTiPay scholarship becomes fully funded in 2017 to enrich select few less fortunate children attend school for the first time.

Corporate Social Responsibility
While we definitely recognize the importance of achieving financial success, we also believe that contributing to the economic, social and environmental betterment of the communities where we live and work is also a measure of success. At GTiPay we have cultivated the culture of giving, and are contributing towards improving communities where we live and work. The spirit of giving is infused into our blood stream.
Donation Campaign:
A companywide donation campaign was launched at GTiPay, where GTiPay donating generously and celebrated the spirit of giving. Clothes, toys, stationery, and other usable items poured in, and were donated to orphanages, old age homes, and at centers for people with special needs.
GTiPay Financial Aid for Children’s Welfare & Education:
We are committed to giving back to communities by supporting organizations who share our goal of improving lives of individuals. This year cash deposit donation was offered to Girls, Boys Welfare & Education – a foundation that supports the cause of education for the blind girls. This includes lodging, boarding and in-house facilities in Braille education. Smiles on the faces of these little angels, earned us happiness that cannot be measured.
The differently abled are not less able, we firmly believe this, and are focused at including them into our organization for functions ranging from operations, accounting, customer care, etc., to name a few..

GTiPay Journey
GTiPay founding members had been inspired by the growth of wireless telecommunications across Africa and noticed the high adoption rates and lower barriers to market of simple SMS mobile phone payments systems such as M-Pesa in 2007. By 2009 GTiPay’s IT team had started to formulate a bank centric mobile banking platform and mobile phone applications that were not just a payment application. Inspired by the fact that there was no single product on the market in Africa that could provide all the financial service needs of 90% of the population in Africa. GTiPay’s US and African IT teams in 2010 started working with our technical partners to fully develop a product that will meet the needs of Africans to be more connected with a standalone mobile banking platform. In early 2011 our core banking technology engine was being evaluated with a customized application for a major banking partner in Namibia who still uses this mobile banking platform today. Systematically, GTiPay started to broaden the functionality of our mobile banking platform from 2012 through 2014 and introduced GTiPay’s Mobile Banking Platform for Uganda and East Africa based on what lessons had been learnt with our testing in South Africa. In 2015 GTiPay activated a live mobile banking demo services to Banks, Micro Finance Institutions and Savings and Loan Clubs (SACCOs). In 2016 we had made live presentations to a select number of banks, MFI’s, SACCO’s, government agencies, regulatory authorities and the Central Bank of Uganda. We received valuable feedback and applied further customization to meet the Bank’s requirements to provide them with a new agency banking product. We started to gain much need momentum and started to fill up our 2017 pipeline for launch partners after successful demos of GTiPay Mobile bank centric value added products. GTiPay is now delivering mobile banking and vending payment services as part of a national merchant payment network (MPN) to link and connect all e-wallets, mobile money users, Banks, MFI's, SACCO customers to GTiPay Mobile Banking Platform.
